Attention all Leader and Readers: A meeting will take place for about an hour here immediately following this morning's service.
Janmashtami, a special Commemoration service to honor Lord Krishna, will be held at our Center Thursday, September 2, from 7-8:30 p.m. Please bring a flower and donation in an envelope, symbols of your devotion and loyalty. Devotees who need to leave early may do so after making the flower offering, so as not to disturb those who wish to stay until the conclusion of the service at 8:30 p.m. Please note: our regularly schedule Thursday evening devotional service and meditation are canceled.
Please join us on our back patio for a Fellowship Brunch following the regular 10 a.m. service next Sunday, Sept. 5. In honor of Krishna and Lahiri Mahasaya, whom we celebrate this month, we'll enjoy delicious Indian fare, including samosas, khir, lassi, and decaf chai tea. And kids eat free!
Our Escondido Center will join with the SRF Encinitas and San Diego Temples for a Picnic in the Park Sunday, Sept. 12, from 12:30-4 p.m. Please see the flyer on the credenza of our Hospitality Room for details about this potluck, which will feature games and music by Del Dios Highway.
Our Center would like to invite you to a magical evening of chanting and spiritual fellowship on Saturday, September 18, at 7 p.m., on our Center's property. KIRTAN AT TWILIGHT will feature Bro. Devananda leading the Self-Realization Monks' kirtan under the stars. The Treasures from India Bazaar will be open before and after this devotional service. Refreshments and divine fellowship will also follow, with all proceeds to benefit SRF Hidden Valley Ashram Center. Please see the flyer with details after today's service on how to RSVP for tickets. You can also purchase tickets outside our Bookroom, after this morning's service.

This evening's group meditation will be held from 6-9 p.m., beginning with Energization Exercises on the back patio.
